Corporate Giving Manager

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), producer of the Philadelphia International Flower Show and home to Philadelphia Green—the nation’s leading urban greening and beautification program—seeks a highly-motivated, independent individual with a strong corporate sales background to join its Development team.  

The Corporate Giving Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Development, is responsible for the creation, implementation and management of a new Corporate Volunteer program as well as the execution of Sponsorship and corporate sales for Philadelphia Green, the Flower Show Preview Party, and other high-profile PHS fundraising events. Critical success factors include achieving sponsorship sales objectives and revenue goals; the development and successful maintenance of key relationships across PHS departments and the corporate sector; the effective delivery of sponsor agreements, and the renewal of subsequent sponsor contracts.

The candidate must have a proven track record of success in generating significant commitments from corporations. The candidate must possess demonstrated abilities in corporate research, proposal writing, solicitation, negotiation and stewardship techniques and strategies. The candidate must possess a high level of professionalism, self-motivation and organization, as well as excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship-building skills.

This position requires the incumbent to entertain corporate donors and potential donors and evening work is often required. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years demonstrated successful corporate sales experience is required. CFRE certification and/or Raiser’s Edge knowledge a plus. Sales Manager, Ticketing

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, producer of the Philadelphia International Flower Show and home to Philadelphia Green, an extensive urban greening program, seeks Sales Manager. Position requires responsible, goal oriented person with proven sales experience who can increase Philadelphia International Flower Show ticket revenue by developing partnerships and strategic promotions with tour/travel groups and retail outlets. Responsibilities include obtaining revenue goals and overseeing ticket sales operation. Specifically, managing e-ticketing services, fulfilling ticket orders, supervising PT assistant, providing financial reports and analysis, onsite coordination and management of Will Call booth, sending eblasts to target audiences, maintaining new leads in database, and reconciling ticket sales after the Flower Show. Some travel required.

Must have Bachelors degree + 5 years work experience. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
